Mountain resort located in the Prahova Valley (with access to DN 1 - E60) at a 125 Km. distance of Bucharest and 36 km. Brasov, surrounded by the Bucegi and si Gârbova Mountains, being at an altitude of 767 m and 1055 m. Transformed from an unknown locality in the Carpathians Pearl contribution Romanian King Carol I, who built here Caselle Peles used as a royal summer residence until 1947. We find here and other tourist attractions such as: Casel Pelisor - located next to Peles Castle, for Prince Ferdinand; Casino built in 1912 by architect Petre Antonescu plans; Royal Station built in 1886 by the General Directorate of the Romanian Railways for King Charles I. George Enescu Memorial House - Villa Luminis; Sinaia Monastery - Built by Mihail Cantacuzino in the years 1690-1695. With access Bucegi Natural Park, facilities for winter sports and not least various accommodation option, makes Sinaia resort to be a permanent operation of general interest. In the hotel Paltinis there is a therapy base.
